FAQs
ABOUT KNITCLICK
What is Knitclick?
Knitlclick was created in 2014 and has grown to be a loved knitting pattern provider for many avid knitters. We design all the patterns and love making new and exciting knits! We also have specifically designed our projects with charity work and fundraising in mind so they can be made quickly and look great.
We are frequently adding new designs and ensure that you receive the best quality. We also get all our materials to make the items on the high street so you are able to obtain what you need without an expensive price tag.
How easy are the patterns to make?
All our patterns are created to be easy for the knitter. They use double knitting wool and knitted flat with two straight needles so there is no need to learn to knit in the round. All the stitches involved are the essentials of knitting such as casting on and off, increasing and decreasing. However, if you have any issues in any of the stitches, please contact us and we will help resolve it as soon as possible.
What makes us different from other knitting pattern designers?
We are constantly updating and adding new patterns all the time so there is always something new.
We also make the patterns ourselves and test them so that you are able to ensure that they are accurate for you.
We offer PDF downloads on all our patterns as well as sending the pattern out through the post as a laminated A4 sheet.
All our knits have been made with the intention that they can be created as gifts or fundraising items.
As we design the patterns, you can ensure that if you contact us with a query, we are the best at helping you with your issue.
We love hearing your suggestions too so please get in touch!
How do I contact Knitclick?
The best way of contacting us is through the Contact Us link at the top of the page. Alternatively you can email directly at customer.support@knitclick.co.uk.
Are your patterns covered by copyright?
All our patterns are designed by us and are protected by UK law. This is set out by "Copyright Notice: Knitting and Sewing Patterns (Copyright Notice Number 4/2015"). This means that you are not able to sell or duplicate any of our patterns. This also means through photocopying and distributing PDF files of our patterns.
However, you are able to use the finished item as fundraising items and as a gift to someone. We would love to see them!
Are all your patterns in English?
At this time, all our patterns are in English and use UK terms. Unfortunately we don't provide patterns in other languages.
PLACING AN ORDER
I want a download so I can see the pattern on my tablet or computer. How do I get one?
When you go to the product page, there is the option to have a PDF download. When you have entered your details in, you should receive an email with a link available to download. If you have not received it to your inbox, check your spam or trash folder to see if it has appeared there. If you are still having problems, please get in touch.
I want a physical copy of the pattern. Would I be able to have this?
Yes, this is the other option on all our patterns. The postage cost will be added at the checkout and enter your address in. The pattern then should arrive to you within the next 2 to 3 working days.
How much is postage for a physical copy?
The postage cost for the patterns do be sent as a laminated A4 sheet would be £1.50. However, if you spend over £20 on one order, postage costs are free.
